central locking problem passenger door only Focus 2005?

I have a Ford Focus 2005, now have a problem unlocking passenger door. Will not unlock with fob or the key. Will not unlock from inside or outside. After much messing about we did manage to unlock it but then it wouldn't lock so we locked it again whilst parked and now cannot open at all. Any ideas ? please help, thanks Chris
