my boiler is coming on all the time the flame is igniting yet we have not got anthing on. it just keeps going on and off all the time

HI, i am assuming you have an 'S' plan system with two zone valves in your airing cupboard. one of these is probably stuck open and is sending 240v all the time to the boiler. the only other reason would be if your boiler is fitted with a frost stat, if thats knackered that will keep the boiler on.
