my light on the telly wont come on its been doing it for a few weeks now it just wont come on any other way i can turn the telly on i just need the red light to come on the picture and everythink is sound just cant get it on

Aisha,

If you are not getting any power to the TV, try plugging another electrical appliance into the same socket, just to make sure there is no loose wiring. Next try changing the fuse in the plug for the TV, also make sure your scart leads are secure and haven't come loose at both ends.
