how do i unblock a toilet with a curve in the bowl?

the toilet brush and bin bags works with straightdown toilet bowls but mine has a curve in the bowl so you can't plunge straight down. help!

First check the manhole the toilet feeds in to and any other on the same outlet run to make sure it's not the manhole/s that are blocked if its the manhole/s you have to get drain rods but when using only turn them clockwise or you'll undo them and lose half in the manhole pipe. Tape the joints with duck tape helps to prevent this but don't be tempted to turn them anti clockwise or same might happen.

Rubber gloves bail out the water in pan as much as you can and pour in boiling water follow this up with a strong mix of boiling water and caustic soda.

First manhole blocked and second clear then unblock from first manhole if the second manhole is blocked that's the one to work on.

get yourself and old fashioned string mop, flush the toilet then start pumping the mop in the bowl, this should force the blockage out
