I have an Error Code 30 showing on my Washing Machine -Hotpoint WD41. It fills with water but as it is about to proceed into the programme it sounds an alarm and displays an error code 30. The machine then pumps out.
A gentle spin programme will enter a spin for a while then revert to the error code/alarm.
Can you help please ?

sounds like the brushes are worn out.Replace the brushes on the motor.
