Controller reset sequence for Bosch WFR2860 washing machine?
I have a Bosch WFR2860 washing machine with a problem I believe to be the on the main processor/controller board, and I am looking for controller reset sequence, or if not how to fix it.
The Problem:
I noted down the timings/condtions etc of the last wash:
9:36 - Cotton wash 40 deg selected, Pressed 'Start'
'Detergent being added' on display
No water entering the machine
Drum not rotating
(Stays in this idle state for up to one hour)
10:20 - Water entered the machine
Drum turning
'Detergent being added' on display
Water at expected normal level
10:23 - Water has stopped entering the machine
'Auto load adjustment' on display
Drum rotating CW/CCW
10:27 - 'Wash' on display
Drum rotating CW/CCW
10:54 - 'Softner being added' on display
Drum rotating CW/CCW
Water input stops, some softner left in tray
10:59 - More water added
'Softner being added' on display
Water level reaches 2/3 way up door!
Drain pump starts and takes water down
to 1/4 way up door
'Softner being added' is still on the display
Drum continues to rotate CW/CCW
11:04 - 'Final Spin' on display
Continues to wash without draining
Drain pump not running
11:05 - Drain pump starts running
(Water rapidly drained)
11:06 - Drain pump still running
Enters spin, slowly at first
Drain pump stops
Drum stops
Drum starts, very slowly, then ramps up
Drain pump starts again
Drum continues to ramp up
Drain pump stops
Drain pump starts again
Drum continues to ramp up
11:10 - Full speed spin
11:18 - Drum ramps down
Drain pump still on
11:19 - 'Fluffing up clothes'
Drain pump still running
Drum rotating CW/CCW
11:20 - Door unlocks
Drain pump stops
Audio alarm
'Remove washing' on display
This is repeatable
Initally I thought it may be a pressure sensor problem with the level control. However, at the start of the program the machine is not taking water in. This indicates that the level sensor (pressure switch) is assuming there is water in the machine at the correct level, and yet it does not start the wash program with a 'dry' drum. There are no flow sensor errors. When it does finally fill and wash, the water level is fine. On the rinse/softer stage the water level is too high! Also the timings seem to be out, with the drain pump running when it shouldn't. That is why I have come to the conclusion I have a controller issue as oppose to a sensor.
Any help or advice on this would be grately appreciated, whether it is a sensor issue or even if it confirms my theory and nothing can be done.
Many thanks in advance.
