i own a renault scenic 2004 model. The dash has completely failed, all other electrics are fine.
Do i need to go to main dealer, any ideas how much this will cost?

Hi, I have the same problem with my scenic, following the recent watchdog investigation Renault have said that they will replace all faulty scenic dashboards, if under 3 years old replacement is free, if over 3 years old it will cost £100 but must be done by a renault main dealer so you need to contact your nearest renault dealer to get it sorted.

hi bev. this happened to me last year..very annoying. a new one will cost £500. i got one for £150 from scrapyard.mine was the 1.5 dci diesel model.you must get the same model dash ie diesel/diesel petrol/petrol models. iwas told afterwards renault will change under warranty so try your local dealer asap.. once on the blink they can only be repaired by a specialist.a mechanic i knew spent hours on it.it worked for half hour or so then went off again.. it is a common fault on the scenic !!!!!
