there is a fault present and this is possibly why it flashes.could be a faulty auto defrost issue or just a bad connection to the defrost components.This isn't a fault that can be repaired easy without some specialist knowledge.Might need to call zanussi on this one as local repairer will not have a clue in my honest opinion
