the lcd is working but its annoyingly missing parts out of digits and i would like to know if this can be fixed and if not, can i buy a replacement and will it be a big job to replace the lcd unit?
any help would be cool.

Some of your pixels have broken down, now you can either replace the unit or have the existing unit re-condisoned (sorry about spelling). Buying a new unit and having your existing unit re-condishoned can be exspensive. E-bay is a good place to start typing in vectra or vectra lcd displays in the search terms. Now you can either take it to a garage or fit it yourself.
