My oven has started to cut off after 22seconds. It does not heat up anything

Hi, my neff microwave door mechanism has broken and after taking the outer shell off, I can see that a bit has broken off the inside of the plastic bit, can this be fixed?

This worked for me on a previous microwave. Take a look inside and you should find a big diode. The connections can get contaminated. The one I looked at had screw down connectors. Remove the diode (remember they are polarised so put it back the same way!) clean the contacts and try again.
