i have fitted a new pump but there is no water in the cylinder or in any pipes that lead into the cylinder but there is water in the tanks in the loft it an e type conventional flue gas boiler
i have hot water in the boiler,cant get hot water to radiators

it sounds like a blocked cold feed, follow pipe as in last message and where it joins in near pump, gently knock it about with a piece of wood to help move any debris

Is there water in the smaller this is the tank that fills your heating. if there is follow the pipe from the bottom of the tank and check any valves on that pipe are open , open any bleed valves near the pump to see if that helps as well.
