ive got a potterton puma.. the problem is that i can ignite the pilot light ok but when i try to turn it to flame it just go's out, any advice..

First off.... Are you sure you are turning the gas valve control in the right direction? Have you waited the 3 minutes before relighting after an extinguished pilot?

Otherwise you will need a registered Gas fitter to take a look; possible faults are thermocouple, overheat thermostat or in rare instances; the gas valve itself.
