how to hook up my ford 4000 generator?

my generator isnt wired up.the wires are kinda tore up and just hanging there.where do they go?[ford 4000 diesel]two wires hang off the generator

The big wire one=D that goes on the big connecter on the Gen
The thin one that is F=field goes to the other one on the Gen
if you not sure work back from the regulator.
