how easy is it to change a laptop screen?

is it just a matter of unpluging conectors then repluging new screen

Depends on the laptop. Some laptops will need to be taken apart a lot more than others to allow the screen to swapped. Most modern laptops are fairly straighforward. Make a careful note of which screws come from where. Bezels normally have to be 'split' apart with a bit of force once the screws have been removed. Also, look out for screws hidden under small rubber/plastic covers. Allow 60-90 mins if you've never done one before and be careful !
