I have a Belling double oven XOU594?

How can I reset the time on the display without the timer kicking in?
I need to clear the automatic timer.

On my oven I cycle the power off and on again so that the clock flashes then I set the time by holding in buttons 2&3 from the left and using plus & minus - any time will do.
