Can you pls help me to resolve this problem?

I'm trying to open a video, but I can’t!!??

Error message is:” error -2048 couldn't open the file SDV_XXXX.MP4 because it's not a file that QuickTime understands"

Apparently, that file got corrupted.
It can be that the header of the file is missing or malformed.
It may also be that it's a file in some other format that got mistakenly renamed with the wrong extention.

Try to get another copy of that file. Save it with another name just to be sure.
