I have a panisonic 27 inch TV with VCR and DVD every time I turn the darn thing on there is a black box across the bottom of the screen. I've tryed everything I can. I really need help on what to do to get rid of it. I've lost the owners manual so I have nothing to refer to. Please help me.

sound like you may have closed caption TEXT1or 2/3/4. This is not your normal closed caption, check your menu to shut off closed caption, you may also have a closed caption (cc) button on your remote.
