how to disassemble a weedwacker to find the string?

I need to disassemble the Craftsman electric weedwacker to find the end of the string. It is model number E61511.

Jessica,
Usually, electric Sears Weedwackers use a "springlike
tang", two small pieces of flexible metal, to hold the spool
to the shaft. Take the spool in one hand and hold the base with the other and begin pulling. It should slide off with a little muscle. Reinstall by placing hole of spool over one of the tangs first then strighten it up to align with shaft, then push on completely. There should be a spring on the shaft or indside the spool cap. Don't lose!!
