triton t80si. power problem?

i put power to the shower via a pull switch but when i press the start/stop button on the shower the light on the pull switch goes out and obviously i get no water.
When i press the button again the power light comes back on the pull switch.

Any suggesstions

your pull switch or wiring in it is burnt up.It will probably need replacing
