how do i remove the lock barrel from the door on a transit connect

you have to insert key and i think it should be turned to the left to release plunger then withdraw the lock assy,this is after the door card,window channel,a/theft cover on lock are all removed and also the large horseshoe clip behind the barrel,good luck
