Where does the wires on a grundfos heating pump solonoid go?

I have a Grundfos pump in my heating system, in the top it has what can only be described as a solonoid with two wires coming from it, one was loose and I do not kwow where they both fit and what it serves as a purpose. PLEASE HELP
