Hi, I am looking at servicing my Mira 8 shower it has become quite stiff to turn on and off. would you advise that I would need to purchase just the "Service Pack " from this site http://bit.ly/mira8service or do you think I would need the "Mira 8 Internal Set/Cartridge" as well?

I had the same problem. Purchased a service kit. Stripped it down cleaned it all encrustef in lime scale . Problem solved

It's hard to say without taking a look inside. It's possible that cleaning the internals and fitting new seals will cure the problem. However this is a very old shower and if it still has the original internal set, it's likely to be worn and require replacement. Mira do a fixed price repair for the Mira 8.
