Vokera Excell 80SP Fan fitting?

I have been told I need a new fan in the boiler. A cost of £154 will sort my problem of hot water with the pilot light tripping off all the time. I have found the fan on the internet for £50 delivered, so my question is - Is it easy to fit, or do I need to be qualified to do this? To me its just an electrical fan, so I am thinking I should be able to do this myself. Answers appreciated, thanks!

RRP for this fan from most retailers is £69.26 (Part number: 5910 [GC: 397-754]), yes the fan is easy to fit... However, it requires access to the combustion chamber, if this chamber is not re-sealed correctly, consequences can be fatal... For this reason; only registered and CORGI approved engineers can fit this item.

If someone supplied the fan, I would charge a standard fee of £100, but I am a london based engineer, so £154 is not extorshonate.
