I have a Bosch washing machine which requires new brushes in the motor. I have removed the motor from the machine and would like some advice as how to remove the brushes. Is this a job for a qualified electrician? I do not want to damage the motor unnecessarily, but cannot fathom out how to remove the brushes.

On my Bosch washing machine - now replaced - the brushes were held in plastic carriers - two cross point screws to remove the plastic holder - difficult to make a mistake - On some motors the brushes are held secure in their holders by clips - there are videos on Youtube.
