Remote stopped working. Saw answers on your site. Took out batteries and left out, then tried the various actions I read about (press all buttons, 999/998 etc) but they all make the red neon come on EXCEPT On/off, Sky and TV. Without these I cannot reprogramme it. Any ideas?

old remote buttons not all working,brought new remote,followed instructions,all worked(one week later) sky+box shut down,new remote not working at all,turned sky box off at mains,switch back on nothing.only the old remote work partly.?
