Red on my TV has gone?

My TV has lost the Red (Green and Blue ok) in the colour. Is this expensive to fix?

Look for a bad solder connection on the video board stuck to the picture tube socket. Use good light and close-up glasses and fix it with silver electronics solder not lead. If you wiggle each componet you should see no movment on the solder side of the board if you do that is a bad solder joint. Unplug the set before you start. You should have listed this fault as "My TV is missing one color"

My Toshiba 36a41 did the same thing. It happened to be the eeprom controlling the color output.
