kenwood rxd-g5 stereo system - cd draw will not open?

The CD draw of my KENWOOD RXD-G5 STEREO SYSTEM will not open. You can hear a motor running when the open/close button is pressed but nothing happens. Is there a drive belt broken? ..... Thanks
