My 2.7 turbo diesel Iveco Daily van (Y reg year 2000) wont go over 2500 rpm in any gear. Other than that the engine runs and starts as normal. Anybody had a similar problem on a turbo diesel?
EDC warning light should be on, its probly the Throttle valve actuator, or the air flow mass meter, i am a trained iveco mechanic, and we always have these problems

try taking the inlet to the turbo off and make sure there is no play in the impeller and it is turning ok,check also the intercooler and hoses have no splits or leaks
