my gas will not light up on either low fire setting or high fire setting. the pilot light works fine.

I have a Portway Pageant fan flue gas fire and I tried to get it serviced was told no book no service. It's been in for fifteen years don't think I got a book, any idea as to where I might get one?

Hi, I have this fire, has the pilot been off most of the summer? Is this the remote version? If so keep trying it could be the oxi pilot, when the pilot has been off for a length of time the sensor can get dust on and stops the fire starting, not sure if this only applys to the remote control version like mine or manual control too. I had this problem and after purchasing a new Oxi pilot only to find it was the wrong one, I just cleaned the whole fire and kept trying it eventually started working fine.

Hope this helps in some way, I only found this as I am looking for a new remote control as mine has become faulty.
