how are you turning the impellor?.Is it visably rotating when you select drain and set the machine going?.if it does rotate then start looking for a blockage in the drain hose or sink waste if connected to one.the impellor should flick as you manually turn it with a screwdriver.if it doesn't flick it is a fault drain pump.
