How do I sort out the radio code for a Nissan Micra E?

Battery was removed for charging. Tried to enter code and got message 'wait 1h'. That was 24 hours ago and I can't seem to clear this message and neither the Cd or radio is working. What can I do? Car is a 52 plate.
