How do I get my Alba Television CTV28W2SIL screen back to normal?

The colour has gone green with purple colour around the outside. On all corners of screen. I purchased Alba TV 15/4/2005. I was told it cannot be fixed. Is this true? If it can be fixed how much would it cost to repair my TV?
