the sanvite unit in my cellar has stopped working,Washer waste pipe overflowed well washer was still ruinning and flooded my cellar.
Check the fuse on the unit, but the motor appears to be dead,Disconnectd it, clean it out, re-connected to the a wall socket in a other room, still would not work.
It is 14years old.
Should I invest in a new unit?

+1 but mines only 2.5 years old!

Mine also blows the ring main when the switch is triggered. Fortunately it blew mid machine discharge so I only had 2 inches of water to bail out instead of the whole machine!

Ill keep watching for an answer.
