Smith Westminster Chiming Clock 3 Key Holes -which winds what?

I've just 'inherited' an old Smith chiming mantle clock, but it doesn't say which key hole is used for winding the clock or the chime mechanisms. Can anyone help? The holes are at 4 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 8 o'clock.

the holes are
4 o clock = the quarter chime spring
6 o clock = the time spring
8 o clock = the hrs spring
should also have a lever on the clock face at 9 o clock to silence the chimes.
the one i have is approximately a 1937 one, its still going strong.
