my dyson is making a louder noise than usual it spits back anything picked up. has it had it? or what can i do

With my Dyson I found that the roller (where the brushes are) had been knocked so many times that it had broken. Eventually it will start to exude a burning smell before spitting out little silver ball bearings - you can just buy this part and fit it yourself quite easily.
