potterton combi 80 boiler locks out. ?

If heating on and we use the shower the boiler locks out.we have been told it may be the secondary heat plate exchanger could be getting blocked ,if so can this be replaced. No other ploblems with boiler.

check shower head is clean if thats ok shower filters may need cleaning sounds as if there's not enough water flowing through the shower
