How can I fix the plug to my Kirby Vac.??

One of the prongs on the plug to my Kirby vac. came out. Is this fixable and how??? Would a vacuum repair shop fix something like this??

You can buy a new Kirby cord online. Ebay or www.powr-flite.com should have exactly what you need. To replace the cord just unscrew the mounting plate on the side and pull out the cord like you would your computer power cord.
