i have hotpoint wma63 ultima extra which starts the washing cycle but then just cuts off after about a min - water is travelling into the cylinder but when it cuts out the water drains away it has spun at 1600 spin which is its rated spin speed once since this problem occured so i figure that the problem isnt major because it managed a complete spin cycle the other night since then it just keeps cutting out after you start the cycle - any body offer me any pointers thanks

hi, my hotpoint wma63 is constantly filling and draining the water, and the door lock is flashing on the display telling me the door is not closed? would this be the door micro switch or something more severe, any help would be greatfully recieved.

The 1600 has an extra board srewed inside beside the front right hand side foot. This usually is first to go causing your symptoms.

mine did the same, take top lid off and make sure all the board clips are firmly on cause if not this causes machine to cut out, hope this helps.
