fix my simpson genesis 511\?

Hi my washing machine a simpson genisis 511 fills with water but will sometimes slowly drain while on the main wash cycle which causes it to have to start filling again or dose'nt even fill up and water just goes straight down the drain. Could something be stopping it from sealing which allows water to drain out.? Thanks

No, lift the drain hose up so that the curve in the hose is as high as the top where the lid is before dropping down in to the drain pipe or sink. If it is lower than the top of machine it will syphon itself out. Also, if drain hose goes in to a drain pipe make sure it is not a tight fit. Allow air to get in to break the syphon effect of the water going down the pipe.
