disarm 1998 Mazda 626 car alarm?

How to disarm a 1998 Mazda 626 factory installed car alarm. Goes off for no reason during the night
holly, December 2010
Ok, normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
yellow/red or, lt green/black | - |
in the drivers door harness or,
located in the drivers door harness or the
at the factory alarm, built into the fuse box.

Once Located, splice into this wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.
