Bush 28" ws6673ntx White line picture collapse?

Bought in 02, over the past six months the picture has begun intermittently collapsing to a white line, sometimes after instability & shaking on two lines. Only remedy is to switch off for 3 minutes. I`ve heard this called `field collapse` but not heard a good solution so far.

Field collapse is not diy repairable fault.

The cause is usually dry soldered joints to the field output IC and/or leaky electrolytic capacitors or diodes in the field output circuit causing it to operate incorrectly/overheat.

Although it requires an engineer, the repair costs for field output faults are usually not too expensive.
