worcester oil boiler lockout?

my fathers worcester gravity oil boiler keeps locking-out. We bleed it from above it runs for 5 mins the locks-out again . Any ideas?

Hi Simon We fill the pipe with oil in the attic above the boiler as we thought it might be an air lock.

hi. you say you are bleeding fom above, is this the radiators or are you bleeding the oil pump?
