how do i fix?

i've got a hoover oph148 machine just over a year old. Will not spin i've still got parts guaranteed for 4 years but with the catch you pay for labour hence why wanted to see if anything can be easily fixed at home first

2 usual faults are belt off pulley or carbons worn but with the machine only 12 months old i doubt u have worn carbons so check the belt
