hitachi AX M68D CD player keeps spinning but doesn't catch the disc, can I mend it?

hi marry,if you can see the laser assemley then just wipe the cd lens with a cotton bud,once the lens has been cleaned try to play a disc,good luck.if it still dosent read the disc then you may have to have a complete cd laser assembley fitted by a audio technician.
