Bosch WFS4030 washing m/c drum motor not turning?

At any point in the washing m/c cycle when the drum should rotate the cycle stops and the 600+900 spin lamps flash. The drum can be rotated by hand and the belt is OK.

Thanks. One brush was worn to almost nothing, the other one less than half way. I don't know why. Anyway new brushes fixed the machine.
