Hello,
I am in need of replacing a Saunier Duval combi boiler and I would like to purchase the boiler myself and simply pay someone to install it. So, I am wondering how I would go about finding a suitable replacement model number for my boiler?

IGNORE C/H OUTPUT?????? are you out of your mind???
If you do this you could end up with a lovely hot bath but not very hot radiators. The best thing you can do is get an expert i to quote what you need. If they are a reputable installer they will be more than happy for you to purchase the boiler as they wont have to put it through their books for a start. The only problem you might have is more and more companies wont sell to non gas safe registered people anymore.

so long as it's a standard flue any boiler will do i always recommend customer to go for a boiler with an extended guarantee (but read the small print first) also ignore c/heating output and concentrate on h/water flow rate some really expensive boilers have crap h/ water output
