p v c window handle just turning window locked. inner window studs seem to be broke cannot open window

try takeing the handel off, you should be able to see the catch inside were the handel was , you might be able to pull up or push down the catch and the window should open ,, mine did , when my handel came off . i just got a new one for it ,, good luck
