Hi, insert your Winxp CD, boot pc up and try to get the pc to boot from the CD, maybe an option for F10 boot menu, or read manual to change the bios to boot from CD. When it boots from the cd it will ask you to press any key to boot from cd, press a key. Windows xp setup will start, when ready choose repair using recovery console, then it may ask for you to confirm repair to windows installation, type y, then ask you for a administrator password, if you know it type it, if you dont press enter. You should be at a does prompt, then type chkdsk /r and press enter. This command will repair any damaged files on your pc.
