After searching for new channels on the built in freeview digital tuner, the tv now loses them all when tv is switched off to standby?
When turned on again it says no channels stored, so I have to go through the auto-tune sequence again only to lose them again when tv is switched off as there's no means of storing them? Should this happen automatically?

If anyone could throw some light on the subject it would be much appreciated.
