Our Dama Senso Compacto 3-41516 Does not refill after flushing unless you fiddle about with the cistern. Sometimes it starts filling when you sit on the seat but other times it takes more time. Any ideas please

I dont know the toilet model, but it sounds like the water inlet valve is sticking. Take the lid off the cistern and observe how the float settles when the toilet is flushed. You may have to turn it slightly to avoid it sticking. Becareful if its plastic, it may be better to loosten the nuts retaining it to the cistern, then turn it. Be careful with plastic!
